We are recruiting a Postdoc/Research Fellow in statistics, machine learning, or bioinformatics, focusing on developing computational methods for complex and large-scale biological data analysis (e.g., single-cell/spatial multi-omics data analysis) at the University of Melbourne, Australia.
The position offers considerable flexibility in project scope and skillsets, and we encourage applicants with diverse backgrounds across computational biology, machine learning, statistics, and bioinformatics to apply.

This position is based at the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for the Mathematical Analysis of Cellular Systems (MACSYS, https://macsys.org/, the world’s largest focused research initiative in mathematical biology) and the Melbourne Integrative Genomics (MIG, https://sites.research.unimelb.edu.au/integrative-genomics, an interdisciplinary research centre advancing the role of statisticians, mathematicians, and bioinformaticians in genomics and computational biology).
