It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ayesha Sulaiman.

Sister Ayesha was a woman of great integrity, compassion, and faith, and is survived by her sons Mohammad Qamar (daughter-in-law Farah Ilyas) and Mohammad Umar, as well as her daughters Asfa Jawad and Naghma Shahab, along with nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

We ask Allah (SWT) to shower her with His mercy, compassion and forgiveness, grant her the highest ranks in paradise and give her family support and patience during this difficult time.

The Janazah prayer will be at Dar Al Taqwa (10740 Route 108, Ellicott City, MD 21042) at 1:30 PM on May 05, 2026, followed by burial at Columbia Memorial Park Cemetery (DAT Islamic Garden section) located at 12005 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029.

O Allah forgive our living and our dead, those who are with us and those who are absent, our young and our old, our menfolk and our womenfolk. O Allah, whomever you give life from among us give him life in Islam, and whomever you take way from us take him away in Faith. O Allah, do not forbid us their reward and do not send us astray after them.
