Location: Silver Spring, Maryland
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Full-time, live-in (private room and meals provided)
About Our Family
We’re a warm, loving family with two children (a 6-year-old and a 1-year-old) who both attend school during the day. We’re looking for a caring, responsible, and energetic live-in nanny who will help us keep things running smoothly at home.
Responsibilities
• Help with morning and after-school routines (getting the kids ready, drop-off/pickup if needed)
• Prepare simple, healthy family meals (breakfasts, kids’ lunches, and some dinners)
• Light housekeeping related to the children (laundry, tidying play areas, keeping the kitchen organized)
• Plan fun, creative, and educational activities for the kids
• Occasionally assist with errands or evening/weekend support
• Communicate openly with parents about schedules, meals, and routines
Requirements
• Prior nanny or childcare experience (especially with infants and school-aged kids)
• Basic cooking skills and willingness to prepare family-friendly meals
• Valid driver’s license (preferred, but not required)
• Kind, patient, and trustworthy personality
• Excellent references
