Request for Dua - Kulsum Aleem

إِنَّا لِلّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Kulsum Aleem, the beloved mother of Dr. Jazibeh Qureshi, who returned to Allah on January 6th, 2026, in Boston.

We kindly ask the community to keep her and her family in your dua. May Allah (swt) accept all of her good deeds, forgive her shortcomings, expand her grave with light, and grant her Jannatul Firdaus. May Allah grant patience (sabr) and strength to her family and loved ones during this difficult time.

O Allah forgive our living and our dead, those who are with us and those who are absent, our young and our old, our menfolk and our womenfolk. O Allah, whomever you give life from among us give him life in Islam, and whomever you take way from us take him away in Faith. O Allah, do not forbid us their reward and do not send us astray after them.
