I am looking for campaign workers to help with my Re-Election campaign to the Maryland Assembly in the upcoming Democratic Primary Elections in June 2026.
I am the only Muslim and Pakistani-American to have been elected twice to the Maryland Assembly in its 391-year history.
** This is a great learning opportunity for anyone interested in Poli Sci as a major in college, or interested in running for elected office in the future. **
The applicants should be motivated, energetic individuals who are excited to make a change for the better in the society!
General Responsibilities:
- Answering telephones, emails or in-person inquiries and communicating with local residents and visitors.
- Door to door canvassing.
- Organizing community meet-and-greet events.
- Perform general administrative duties.
General Requirements:
- 18+ years age.
- High School Diploma/GED, Associate or BA/BS degree.
- Reliable transportation.
- Proficient in MS Office, esp. Word and Excel.
Prior experience with any Democratic election campaign a big plus, but not required. WE CAN TRAIN YOU!
PAYMENT: $18 per hour before election (4 PM - 8 PM) and $150 per day during Early Voting (June 11-18) and on Election Day (June 23). PLUS a "WIN BONUS" for those working all days of Early Voting and on Election Day after we win the Primary Election.
