New versions of the PyCPT python libraries have been released, fixing a number of issues, including:
- A precompiled CPT binary is now included for all platforms, eliminating compilation errors that many experienced when installing on Linux.
- Occasional crashes on Windows have been eliminated.
- Occasional failures of the notebook to communicate with the jupyter kernel have been fixed.
To get the latest versions, please follow the
installation instructions. Note that these instructions have also changed since the last release.
There have also been improvements in the PyCPT notebook, including:
- improved graphics including colorbars
- plotting of EOF variances on maps
Please download the latest version of the notebook from
github.
Looking forward to your feedback,
