Any explanation about the IPv6 drop in Belgium ?

Based on https://www.google.com/intl/en/ipv6/statistics.html#tab=per-country-ipv6-adoption it seems that Belgium has a big drop for a couple of days...

 

 

Any reason why ? Could be a Google measurement mistake of course but my Google contact is on holiday so cannot check.

 

Even APNIC has noticed a drop for a couple of months: https://stats.labs.apnic.net/ipv6/BE (possibly with more and more Orange endpoints) but the drop is really in Google https://www.vyncke.org/ipv6status/plotpenetration.php?country=be

Hello all,

One explanation I can offer would be an issue at ... google !

I use their mail service professionnally and I sometimes experiement issues using thunderbird (service not available, ...).
It turns out that thunderbird does not fall back on IPv4 if the service is not available, so I notice it (cannot send mail).
In that case, I have to disable the IPv6 from thunderbird...

This afternoon, their whole services (web, smtp, imap) were down in IPv6 for me (VOO user).
