Hi all

apologies for missing this on friday

Last week:
- Made good progress on the click UI separation from business logic. Had https://github.com/instructlab/instructlab/pull/2424 merged for data commands and raised https://github.com/instructlab/instructlab/pull/2480 for config commands
- also raised and merged https://github.com/instructlab/instructlab/pull/2491 following changes made to support specifying multiple models to be downloaded
- I have also been working on getting https://github.com/instructlab/instructlab/pull/1895 over the line - just battling with CI and rebasing to push it through

This week I am hoping to:
- Finish and merge https://github.com/instructlab/instructlab/pull/1895
- Raise PRs for click UI separation for system and possibly some model commands - since this work is the foundation for work that needs to follow to restructure the CLI

Have a great week all!

To be totally honest, I completely forgot. I guess my mind doesn't really go to upstream mailing lists when I'm writing a weekly team status email.

I'm totally open to it being a dumb idea :) Just trying to think of how we can get more upstream / external presence so we can attract community contributors without it being a huge lift. Sure, they're team mailing list status emails.... but honestly in the early days of planet GNOME upstream contributors might write something similar on planet.gnome.org and call it a blog post instead of a status report?
