This is a long email, please read carefully!

Infuzed Workshop Moving

Hello Everyone,

 

We are going to be temporarily shifting from our workshop (SMILE Camp) to a temporary space for the remainder of the FRC build season. As such, we are going to be moving all of the essential materials that we need for the season to the space this coming Saturday (2/5), at 8 AM

SMILE Camp: 6301 Hillsborough St, Raleigh, NC, 27606

Temporary Space: 217 Mason River Pl, Morrisville, NC, 27560 

 

After we get settled this weekend, we will begin regular build season meetings after school as we have done in previous years. To meet COVID-19 requirements, we will only be allowing 10 members in the shop at once, limiting it only to members who will be working on robot-related tasks. We will be ensuring that everyone has an equal opportunity to work in the shop.

 

Signups for carpools are in the spreadsheet above. Carpool sheets are separated by school, which can be found on the bottom of the spreadsheet. Students who wish to carpool can put their names under each day they wish to go. Each day, the sheet will be updated according to how many drivers are available. Students will be randomly assigned to drivers on a first-come, first-serve basis.

If you or your parents would like to carpool (which we highly encourage), please sign up on the bottom of each sheet under “Drivers” indicating how many members you can take.

Member Dues

Running an FRC team is VERY expensive. Because of this, we have dues for all of our members. Dues are $300 and are required for all members. You can pay using the PayPal link below or make a check payable to InspireNC (preferred) which will be collected at meetings. These contributions are tax-deductible donations! If possible, other methods of fundraising such as employer matching are extremely helpful. If you have any contacts at companies that could provide potential sponsorships, we would love to connect.

NOTE: If opting for the PayPal option to send dues, please select the “Sending to a friend” option in order to avoid any extra fees.

First Consent Forms

Some members still need to apply for our team on FIRSTINSPIRES. This is the organization that hosts FRC and is independent of InspireNC. This is necessary to be able to participate in the competition. Additionally, even if you have applied, please ensure that you have completed the required release forms in the dashboard.
