The ICAT-EGVE 2026 conference will be held from September 30th to October
2nd, 2026, at the Universidade Federal de Goiás, Goiânia, Brazil.

ICAT-EGVE is the merger of the 36th International Conference on Artificial
Reality and Telexistence (ICAT 2026) and the 31st Eurographics Symposium on
Virtual Environments (EGVE 2026) — two of the oldest international
conferences in the world on Artificial Reality and Virtual Environments.

This year ICAT-EGVE will be colocated with three Brazilian conferences:
- 28th Symposium on Virtual and Augmented Reality (SVR)
- 39th Conference on Graphics, Patterns and Images (SIBGRAPI)
- 25th Brazilian Symposium on Games and Digital Entertainment (SBGames)

Important Dates (all times: AoE)
- Posters/Demos submission deadline: July 8th, 2026 (HARD DEADLINE)
- Posters/Demos notification: July 23rd, 2026
- Posters/Demos camera-ready deadline: August 22nd, 2026
- Conference: September 30th – October 2nd, 2026

Submissions
We invite the submission of Posters and Demonstrations describing novel
research ideas, work in progress, recently completed work, preliminary
results, or unusual systems and applications. ICAT-EGVE 2026 seeks inspiring
submissions describing research, applications, or systems in all areas of
Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality, Telexistence, and 3D User
Interfaces.

Other Tracks
There is a separate submission portal for the other tracks (Full and Short
Papers, and Pitch Your Lab). Please see the corresponding calls for details.

Review and Publication
All Posters/Demos submissions will undergo a double-blind review process and
will be selected for presentation by the responsible chairs based on the
reviews. Accepted Posters/Demos will be published in the Eurographics
Digital Library and presented interactively at the conference. The
camera-ready version will be included in the electronic proceedings,
provided that reviewer comments are appropriately addressed.

Widening Participation
Eurographics (EG) is offering a limited number of scholarships through the
EG Widening Participation Scholarships, which encourages attendance from
researchers worldwide, in particular those belonging to underrepresented
groups at EG events.

Venue and Travel
Goiânia, the capital of Goiás, is a vibrant and welcoming city in the heart
of Brazil, known for its modern architecture, green areas, and a growing
technology and innovation ecosystem.
Goiânia has direct flights to 10 Brazilian cities (e.g. São Paulo, Rio de
Janeiro, Recife, Brasília). Many European cities have direct flights to
Brazil, including Lisbon, Porto, Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, London, Rome,
Milan, Zurich, Munich, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam.
For example, a traveler from Japan could fly Tokyo – New York – São Paulo –
