The Eurohaptics 2026 conference will be held in Siena, Italy, a city known for its stunning medieval architecture and UNESCO World Heritage Site. This world-renowned event gathers the brightest and most innovative minds in haptic perception and technology to explore cutting-edge research, engaging discussions, and innovative demonstrations.
Themes and Topics:
Contributions are welcome across a broad spectrum of topics, including but not limited to:
Understanding Touch: Haptic perception, neuroscience of touch, biomechanics, and social touch.
Technology and Systems: Haptic interface design and control, tactile displays, sensors and actuators, haptic rendering, physical human-robot interaction, embedded haptics, and teleoperation.
Applications and Interaction: Human-computer interaction with haptics, virtual and augmented reality, multi-modal systems, haptic applications in fields like industry, commerce, healthcare, education, human-computer interaction, robotic manipulation, shared control and collaboration, and haptics in health and wellness.
Types of Contributions:
Eurohaptics 2026 welcomes the following types of contributions.
Conference Papers (https://eurohaptics.org/ehc2026/contribute/conference-papers): Regular (6-9 pages) and long (10-18 pages) papers presenting original, high-quality research. Accepted papers are published by Springer and presented orally or as posters at the conference.
Workshops (https://eurohaptics.org/ehc2026/contribute/workshops): Excellent occasions to dive deeper into specific haptic topics and engage with other experts.
[New!] Published Research Track (https://eurohaptics.org/ehc2026/contribute/published-research-track): Previously-published journal papers in haptics can be presented as posters.
Work-in-Progress Papers (https://eurohaptics.org/ehc2026/contribute/work-in-progress/): Present early results to ongoing promising projects, presented as posters during the conference.
Hands-on Demonstrations (https://eurohaptics.org/ehc2026/contribute/demos): Interactive opportunities to let attendees experience your work, fostering rich scientific discussions and new application ideas.
[New!] Eurohaptics 2026 will also host the 1st Eurohaptics Summer School on July 10th-12th in Siena. More information will soon be available.
