The Eurohaptics 2026 conference will be held in Siena, Italy, a city known for its stunning medieval architecture and UNESCO World Heritage Site. This world-renowned event gathers researchers and innovators in haptic perception and technology to explore cutting-edge research, engaging discussions, and innovative demonstrations.
Themes and Topics:
Contributions are welcome across a broad spectrum of topics, including but not limited to:
Understanding Touch: Haptic perception, neuroscience of touch, biomechanics, and social touch.
Technology and Systems: Haptic interface design and control, tactile displays, sensors and actuators, haptic rendering, physical human-robot interaction, embedded haptics, and teleoperation.
Applications and Interaction: Human-computer interaction with haptics, virtual and augmented reality, multi-modal systems, haptic applications in fields like industry, commerce, healthcare, education, human-computer interaction, robotic manipulation, shared control and collaboration, and haptics in health and wellness.
The main conference runs from July 6 to 9, immediately followed by the first Eurohaptics Summer School from July 10 to 12.

Also, the first Eurohaptics Summer School offers practical training on all stages of haptic research, including prototyping and evaluation methods. The program features keynotes and a hackathon. Participation is free but limited to 40 people. Applications close on April 20, 2026. More information is available at https://eurohaptics.org/school/.
