Can't use Enter (return) in Anonymous Window

Hi Scott, 

I've got a weird one. 

In the anonymous apex window, I can no longer seem to be able to do a carriage return. 

When hitting the enter key, it just takes me back to the beginning of the line. Very odd. 

I've updated IC and IntelliJ to the latest versions. 

IC: v2.3.6.1

IJ: 2025.1.2

Hi, Tyler. I'm not seeing that behavior locally, nor am I hearing about it from others. Doesn't mean it's not happening, but I'm just wondering if it's something with your installation. I say that because I just had another user seeing a seeming one-off issue that was resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling the IDE. Sometimes it can get into a bad state after repeated in-place upgrades. I'd recommend you try that, and if the issue is still occurring after diong so, please log an issue in the public issue tracker so that I can help diagnose it.

Hi Scott,

After some additional testing, it is not due to IC. Apologies for the ticket.
Turns out to be related to the nvim plugin for IJ. Disabling that allowed normal functionality again.

Ah. I wondered if that might be the case because someone else just reported exactly that:

As stated there, I won’t get a chance to dig in until next week to understand if it’s an IC issue or an nvim issue. My guess is that it’s the latter since I’ve never heard of this except in conjunction with that plugin, and only that in the past week or so.
