IC not finding all test classes when running All Tests?

IJ Version: IDEA 2024.2.3 (Community Edition) IC-242.23339.11

IC Version: 2.3.3.0 - Build 20240926093452

I have noticed strange behavior with IC test execution since the last update where IC no longer seems to find all my test classes. If i open the test configuration, it seems to only know about the test classes I have open currently in my workspace, but if I open other test class then IC appears to "learn about" that class and then shows it in the test configuration for selection.

I have rebuilt the full IC symbol table and bounced my IDE a couple of times to no avail. Each time I restart my IDE it seems to reset back to a subset of the test classes it should really find.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi, Chris. I've had another user report the same thing, and it seems to be specific to the changes introduced in 2.3.3.0 last week. Unfortunately I've been unable to reproduce it locally, so I've asked that user to see if he could create a standalone project that reproduces the issue. I'd ask you -- and anyone else experiencing this issue since it's obviously real -- if you could do the same thing. The sooner I'm able to reproduce it, the sooner I can fix it and issue a hotfix build. Please let me know if you're able to create a shareable reproduction and I'll take care of it.
