On some ongoing projects I often end up with this:
SCR-20260513-mdve.png

I find myself spending time searching for that query that I wrote days or weeks or months ago.
I wonder if IC2 could make this more manageable.

My ideas:
  • use a LLM to create short meaningful titles
  • or automatically put object name in title
  • perhaps make the tabs horizontally scrollable instead of dropdown
  • make them searchable?
  • maybe a way to organize, group or colour code tab titles

Thinking about this - I have same problem anonymous apex.

Hope it's not a "too much out there" problem!

Hmmmm...that's interesting. Right now the options would mainly be to name your tabs something indicative of their purpose and/or to save these scripts as actual script files that can be opened in tabs if/when desired. Having said that, I think adding some type of simple search/filtering based on tab contents shouldn't be too hard. Do you mind logging an enhancement request? I really do plan to get back to a number of those -- including your deployment testing one -- once I'm on the other side of React support, Summer '26, and the issue tracker/wiki migration. This one should be pretty straightforward to implement as well.
