Skipping UI Bridge / Frontdoor

Hi,

Is there a way to skip the UI bridge link when opening a record? For example, when clicking a SOQL query result.

There are currently some unrelated SSO issues in an org (out of my control) which has broken the UI bridge.

Hi,

No worries, I didn't adequately explain.

Currently, opening a record from IC will navigate to a frontdoor link such as https://*.my.salesforce.com/secur/frontdoor.jsp?otp=(REMOVED)&cshc=(REMOVED)&startURL=%5003000000D8cuIQAA.

I'm wondering if there is a configuration that could enable navigating directly to https://*.my.salesforce.com/5003000000D8cuIQAA instead.

The reason being is that I have an issue with an org where following a frontdoor link takes me to a password reset page (even though I'm setup with SSO).

Ah, I see. I'm actually curious as to why that type of URL is taking you to the password reset page since that's the standard mechanism for accessing content within the org for a given content ID.

Right now there's no way to configure IC to bypass the front door URL. If you'd like to see something like that added, would you mind logging an enhancement request in the public issue tracker? That way it will be more concretely on my radar.
