Code coverage full red / green highlight of text besides just left margin.

Trying to get some coworkers to purchase IC. I have my code coverage fully highlighted. He just had it on the left nav (using mac) Not sure if this is in intellij thing or IC thing but who just one get the coverage fully highlighted. I must have changed something years ago, just can't remember what.

Hi, Rick. I'm not 100% sure that I understand. Code coverage in the JetBrains IDEs is displayed for the editor in the left gutter:

It sounds like your co-worker is seeing what I'd expect. I'm not aware of a way to get it to show with highlighting of entire lines in the editor. If you were able to do that, I'd be very curious to know how you configured it to do so.

Or am I misunderstanding the situation? If so, please let me know and I'll try to answer the right question.

OK.. yes. this one is on me.. I must have some other plugin that I configure this with a long time ago.. I'll try to look. Sorry about that.

But now I'm curious as to what I did :)

Here is what I did.. this is not a IC function. This is a color config in the the IDE. Sorry about that.

Hah! I was just looking at that myself. Yep, that definitely makes a nice difference in terms of visualizing coverage. Glad you got it figured out!

btw. having crazy retrieval times (10 mins for 1 apex class) on cs19 (but not other sandboxes)

Don't think it's the plugin but just fyi in case others ask.

Will send logs if continues through later tonight but I think it's just the sandbox.

Yes, I'm hearing the same from other users today...both retrieval and deployment. It seems that the servers are responding slowly, likely due to long queue lengths. I'm happy to look at a log to confirm that, but all that IC does is place a request in queue and polls for its completion. That's what I'd expect to see in the log as well.

I tried this setting and I'm still not able to get the lines highlighted across the screen, just in the sidebar.

Note that I did have to close and reopen coverage before it showed properly.
