Scratch Org Intellisense

I am on my first DX project in IC and have created the project from a git source. I have created a scratch org. When I view a class in my IC project, all objects, SF types, etc show as errors. I cannot generate an offline symbol table as I used to do with sandboxes. What do I need to do to fix the visible errors? I know it will push ok the the scratch org. I am using IC in Webstorm.

Can you explain what you mean by "I cannot generate an offline symbol table"? That's certainly the root cause of the issue as the OST is used for resolution (and completion) of all of those unresolvable symbols. Once we figure out why you're unable to generate an OST--and get one generated for you--you'll likely be good to go.

When I click on Generate Offline Symbol Table, nothing happens. I look in the Event log - nothing. The only odd thing I did was §  Change the Shell Path to C:\Program Files\Git\bin\bash.exe  (it was just cmd.exe before). This was so I could use the terminal in IC.
