Hi - I have a scratch org that was created from an unlocked package (in git) and which has been authenticated to our Dev Hub. An IC SFDX project was created from the cloned source folder and the metadata has been pushed to the scratch org. Can I use IC directly in my scratch org? If so, would it have intellisense? Or do I need to develop in the IC project and sfdx push the changes (I have no intellisense in the IC project as I am not connected to an SF org)?

Thanks.

I was able to resolve this by creating a connection directly to my scratch org from IC. I can click on 'save' and the scratch org is then updated (no sfdx push needed). Also have the intellisense I was looking for. Works really nicely!

Sarah, I'm glad you were able to get this working. it sounds like you created a dedicated user in the scratch org different from the default scratch org user? If so, there may be a simpler way to do what you're wanting. Please see the user guide topics for Creating Projects:

That covers various permutations of Salesforce org types, file storage formats (metadata format vs. source format), etc., and how you can create an IC2 project for each.

I hope that helps as well.
