Salesforce login issue.

Illuminated cloud locks me out when try to connect to salesforce sandbox. Tried using the security token but no luck.

Can you elaborate further? Are you just creating a native connection, typing in credentials, and testing the connection repeatedly?

Yes. I am trying to create a connection. I reset my SF password and try to enter the new credentials with the security token. It says invalid credentials and then when I login to salesforce on the browser, it says account is locked.

From the connection manager, IC should only be trying to log in once each time you click either the Test button or the OK/Apply buttons for the enclosing dialog (which will run the same test login logic if not already passed).

So let me make sure I understand what's happening. Are these the steps you're following?
  1. You start with an unlocked account in your sandbox.
  2. You  open IC's connection manager.
  3. You either create a connection to your sandbox or update the credentials of an existing connection to your sandbox.
  4. Before dismissing the dialog, you click the Test button once. Does that show success or failure with the given credentials?
  5. You try to log into the sandbox and the account is now locked?
Or am I still misunderstanding what's happening? Sorry, but I'm just trying to understand the sequence of events because the number of login attempts in the steps outlined above should be exactly one.
