Syntax errors recently

Recently IC2 has been telling me that i have syntax errors, but the files save fine without error.

MacBook Air M2, Sonoma 14.6.1 (23G93)

IC2 Version: 2.3.3.5

IntelliJ IDEA 2024.2.4 (Ultimate Edition)
Build #IU-242.23726.103, built on October 22, 2024

Any help would be great. Not sure why its been doing this.

That’s strange. It almost looks like *.cls is perhaps not associated with IC2’s Apex Class file type. Can you see what extensions are associated with Apex class file under Settings | Editor | File Types? Also, what other third-party plugins do you have installed other than IC2?

If none of that helps, I’m happy to look at your idea.log to see if there’s anything obvious. You could also try uninstalling/reinstalling the IDE in case something has gotten into a bad state across a series of in-place IDE updates. Believe it or not, that “have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in” approach solves a surprising number of these kinds of bizarre issues that are only affecting a single person.

I had the same issue today. After a while, I switched my connection, but all my offline symbols were gone, and regenerating didn't work. 
I disabled the plugin, restarted, and enabled the plugin, which seems to fix the issue. 
I'm also on a Macbook with the M series chip. latest version of MacOS and Idea Ultimate.
