I'm working in a huge org with a lot of unlocked packages. But the package we are developing depends only on few of them? Because of the amount of metadata, it takes a lot of time to generate Symbol table even for SObjects. Can we have a way to select what packages will be used to generate Symbol table? So that only unpackaged and selected packages are used for generating the table.

I had thought that this was in the public issue tracker, but I'm not finding it. I've had at least one other person ask for the ability to select an explicit subset of installed packages to be included in the generated OST. It wouldn't be that difficult to implement. Would you mind logging an enhancement request in the issue tracker so that it's concretely on my work list?
