1.7.9.6

  • Issue 641 - Fixed an issue that could cause completions to include namespace prefixes on relationship fields incorrectly.
  • Issue 646 - Fixed an IndexOutOfBoundsException that could occur if the line/column numbers for reported errors were out of bounds for the local version of the file.
  • Issue 648 - Added abstract and isTemplate attributes to aura:component tag.
  • Issue 651 - Auto-completions are now disabled in JavaScript comments in Community Edition. Completions can still be displayed within comments using explicit completion triggers.
  • Fixed an issue with formula expression syntax highlighting in Visualforce/Lightning markup.
  • Changed the Keep when reformatting>Simple properties in one line behavior to only take into consideration the property body and not the annotations or modifiers. This allows the setting to work when annotations are kept on a separate line.
  • Added support for Context Info (Alt + Q on Windows/Linux; Ctrl + Shift + Q on Mac) to show successive containing declarations when out of view.
  • Added support for matched brace preview rendering when out of view.
  • Added support for Platform Events objects with a __e suffix.
  • Changed the Retrieve and Merge label to Retrieve for Merge to make it clear that the merge process is manual.
  • When the Coverage plugin is not enabled and unit tests are run, the IDE now auto-enables the plugin and restarts.
  • Fixed an issue in OST generation that could prevent certain relationships from being rendered properly.
  • Fixed several issues processing and presenting test failures. Indirect failures such as those from transitive compilation failures should be clearly presented to the user now.

Please note that 1.7.9.6 included a regression in second-pass syntax highlighting that has been resolved in 1.7.9.7.
