User Tip: How to avoid extra copies of Out of Office messages

In Gmail, auto-reply out of office/vacation notices generate a useless
copy of the notice every time someone tries to email you while auto-
reply is turned on. You can avoid the duplicate messages by setting up
a filter to have your "out of office" skip your inbox. Go to settings
(beneath the gear symbol upper right on your gmail page); then
Filters; then Create a New Filter.
