We are investigating the possibility of transitioning to Google Meet as the IHE video conferencing tool for our Board Committees as well as Domains currently supported by HIMSS.
Currently the BoD, BOC and DCC/T&T/Marcomm Board Committees use Zoom supported by RSNA.
Similarly ITI/PCC/DEV Domain Committees use Teams supported by HIMSS.
Both RSNA and HIMSS would like to withdraw support of these tools for IHE. so we are considering standardizing on Google Meet since we already use Google Workspace and this would be the most cost effective option.
We are looking for your feedback as to whether standardizing on Google Meet would create a situation where you could not participate in virtual meetings. (We are not looking for opinions as to which tool you prefer... )
Please let me know by July 15th if this would be an issue.
