Dear IFMSA members, We are pleased to invite you to the next edition of the SRHR Advocacy Online Workshop, this time incorporated in the External Affairs Capacity Building Camp! What is the SRHR Advocacy Workshop? This workshop aims to introduce IFMSA members to advocacy efforts and work conducted in external affairs related to SRHR issues. Additionally, it seeks to provide them with practical knowledge and skills they can apply at the national level and empower them to engage in the international arena.
Call for participants: The training will focus on equipping IFMSA members with advocacy skills in SRHR, taking into account cultural and political barriers. It will also empower them to take action on the national level and boost their international involvement.
The workshop addresses daily aspects: policy-making, partnerships, external meetings, youth empowerment and soft skills. The selection of participants will prioritize the participation of members from as many NMOs as possible and based on the quality of the application.
Call for facilitators: In addition to participants, we also need amazing facilitators to deliver the content. We encourage members from all backgrounds to apply: SCORA, CB, External Affairs, you name it. Facilitators will help design how each session is delivered, moderate the Open-Space Discussions and team-building, and provide feedback for all the assignments turned in by participants.
