Dearest TdmT Graduates,


With this email, I would like to announce the opening of the call for the IFMSA Training Disaster Medicine Trainers (TdmT) Focal Point for the term 2025/2026!


The IFMSA TdmT Focal Point

The Focal Point (FP) works together with the Liaison Officer for Human Rights and Peace (LRP) on facilitating the preparations for TdmT, in collaboration with CRIMEDIM. The responsibilities of the Focal Point include: opening the call for participants to TdmT, selecting participants, supporting selected participants during the registration process of TdmT as well as follow up with the graduates after the conclusion of the course. The Focal Point will also support the LRP in communication with CRIMEDIM on matters related to TdmT. Other tasks of the Focal Point might include communicating and engaging with TdmT Alumni and directing the outcomes of the TdmTs to support ITDMs.


How to apply?

To apply, kindly fill in this application form (link). You will be asked to provide:

  1. Your motivation to apply for the TdmT FP (within 2000 characters);

  2. A CV (of 2 pages max) with your relevant experience; and

  3. A brief plan of action for the TdmT FP if you are selected (within 2000 characters).


In addition to the application form, the only other requirement to apply is being a TDMT graduate (which you all already are)! The deadline to apply is the 13th of April 2026, 23:59 GMT.


The selected applicant will be announced and contacted within 1 week of the submission deadline.
