Dear SCOPHeroes and EA community,

I am happy to share with you an amazing opportunity from the NCD Alliance and the Our Voices, Our Views initiative! This is a platform for you to share your experience - if you are between the ages of 18 and 25, living with a non-communicable disease (NCD) or caregiving for someone with one or more, we want to hear your voice!

This is the seventh series of the NCD Diaries and this year's whole theme is dedicated entirely to Youth and how it is also deeply affected by non-communicable diseases. Now, you can help us turn your personal journey as a person and a medical student into a powerful advocacy tool, one that will help to mobilize communities and increase youth visibility in global health spaces.

What are the NCD Diaries?
The NCD Diaries are a multimedia storytelling project in which advocates share their lived experiences and clear "calls to action" on the challenges facing young people today. This series will focus on the NCD Alliance’s four impact goals: Prevention, Care, Financing, and Community Engagement.

Program Details
Timeline:
the series will run from April to October 2026.
Eligibility: open to individuals aged 18–25. Priority will be given to the NCD Alliance members, but we're reserving two spots for advocates currently outside the NCDA network.
Selection: applications will be reviewed by the NCD Alliance and the Our Views, Our Voices Global Advisory Committee, not by IFMSA.

How to Apply
Please review the selection criteria and submit your Expression of Interest via this link: https://www.ourviewsourvoices.org/ncd-diaries/become-a-diarist/2026

Deadline for Submission: Sunday, 29 March 2026.

Please note that, due to the volume of applications, only successful candidates will be contacted (typically within 3-4 weeks after the closing date). If you have any questions, please contact the NCD Alliance: Charlotte Aberdein (cabe...@ncdalliance.org) or Nyla Miah (nm...@ncdalliance.org).

Warmest hugs,
Gustavo on behalf of the SCOPH EA Family
