Dear IFMSA Members,

I hope you are doing well.

I am pleased to share with you an opportunity launched ahead of the upcoming World Bank Fragility Forum aimed at amplifying youth voices from fragile, conflict-affected, and vulnerable settings.

Submission Link

🎥 WORLD BANK YOUTH VIDEO CHALLENGE: “YOUR VOICE, YOUR JOB ASPIRATIONS”

The challenge invites young people to submit a short one-minute video reflecting on their aspirations for dignified work and the changes needed to make these opportunities accessible in their communities.

Deadline: 24 May 2026

Eligibility: Young people aged 18–35 living in fragile, conflict-affected, or vulnerable settings

Format: Self-recorded 60-second video

What should participants address?

Participants are encouraged to reflect on questions such as:

  • What do your job aspirations look like?

  • What does dignified work mean in your context?

  • What barriers currently exist?

  • What changes are needed to make decent and meaningful work accessible?

This initiative aims to ensure that youth perspectives and lived experiences meaningfully inform global discussions around fragility, employment, resilience, and social inclusion.

We highly encourage eligible members and networks to participate and help amplify these important voices.

Note: Keep in mind that this is a forwarded opportunity, not an official IFMSA call. So don’t mention IFMSA during the registration process.

Warm regards,
Rawan Al Balushi
