Dear IFMSA members,

We are happy to extend an invitation to a webinar tomorrow (26/03/2026) on WASH in Health Systems: A Foundation for Maternal and Child Health.

In the spirit of Women's History Month and following World Water Day, join the Global Health Council and us for a timely conversation on a critical yet often overlooked connection: you cannot deliver quality care for mothers, newborns, and children without safe water, sanitation, and hygiene. We'll explore what it takes to make WASH a true foundation of health systems, from frontline facilities to humanitarian settings.

Speakers:
Moderator: Elisha Dunn-Georgiou, President & CEO, Global Health Council
- Lisa Schechtman, Founder and CEO, Egeria Strategies
- Nhlanhla Ncube, Environmental Services and WASH Manager, Partners In Health
- Mauricio Pérez, WASH Technical Expert, Proyecto Esperanza, Venezuela
- A representative from WaterAid

Warm regards,
Gustavo LPH and Darine LRA
