Hi Steve,

Yes, we do plan to merge. The delay in merging the latest libpfm4 changes into PAPI is due to an issue we identified during testing of the libpfm4 ARM updates. Please see details here: https://github.com/icl-utk-edu/papi/issues/336

Hi Steve,

Just a quick update why we are still out of sync with libpfm4 in PAPI master:

https://github.com/icl-utk-edu/papi/issues/364

This puts us a bit behind on shipping PAPI (we are currently 8 commits behind the latest libpfm4 version, which isn’t an ideal starting point for a PAPI release). I will keep you updated, and I have also reached out to Stephane.
