Hello everyone,

I recently came across methods in MAGMA for Chinese Remaindering (handbook link) and finding two-element presentations (handbook link) for ideals in rings of integers of algebraic number fields. I wish to learn more about the exact algorithms these are built upon, and in particular, their time and space complexities. Unfortunately I couldn't find any references within the handbook and am hoping somebody here could point me towards where I can find relevant analyses of said algorithms.

Thanks in advance,
Gaurav Chandan

Hi,

I believe you are posting in the wrong group.

This group is for the MAGMA numerical library (Matrix Algebra for GPUs and Multicore Architectures) hosted here, while it seems you are referring to another library with the same name: https://magma.maths.usyd.edu.au/magma/

Thanks,
Ahmad
