Is there a command that outputs the names of the counters which I can add to an eventset?

Hello Alex,

To view available counters on the command line, navigate to your PAPI install directory and then enter into the bin directory. As an example: cd test-install/bin/. From here you can either run:
  • ./papi_native_avail, which shows native events for components
  • ./papi_avail, which shows preset events
If you are working in a source file, you can use either two functions:
Best wishes,

Treece
