Question - Corrupted NCEP CFSv2 land mask?

Hello,

I'm trying to read in NCEP CFSv2 wind speed data into MATLAB, using
MATLAB's built-in netCDF reader utilities. It works fine for all of the
actual database files on the HYCOM dataserver, except for the land mask
file (netcdf_cfsv2_0.204deg_computational_mask_1760x880.nc) , where I
get weird artifacts at the top of the map. Can anyone confirm that the
land mask file is not corrupted?

Seth,
Thanks for letting us know about this corrupted land-sea mask file.
The *corrected version* has been retrieved from the archive server and
has replaced the faulty one (2MB -> 3MB). Please try re-downloading
this file again now,
