Listed missing dates differ from what is actually available from GLBy0.08 dataset

Hello,

Looking through the archive, specifically the "ice" fields in 2022 and 2023:

https://data.hycom.org/datasets/GLBy0.08/expt_93.0/data/hindcasts/2022/

I found that for a number of days, the "ice" dataset is missing while the "sur" fields may be present. In addition, there were also times when everything was missing for a day or so. I have seen the missing data list for this dataset and so I wanted to raise this to notify you that the list may be out of date. Please do let me know, however, if that data is potentially elsewhere.

Can we get a response on this when you have a chance?  I'd be curious if there was another source we should use to get data during these gaps, or if you have any other advice.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Since early 2024 we have
been monitoring the "ice" and "sur" data more closely and these older
dates need to get the missing days re-downloaded. I'll work on the
2023 data 1st and then work my way back through the GLBy dataset
years. I'll let you know once the sur and ice files have been updated
(based on availability from NRL).

I just wanted to check on this from your end. Curious if you were able to find the "ice" and "sur" files for a lot of those missing dates or not - I'll go take a look myself but also wanted to see if you'd found anything and/or intended to update a missing file list?
