Hi Alan,

Thanks for your help, I could successfully run the North Atlantic Ocean case.
Now I'd like to run a couple of years of simulation in a smaller region with the finer grid size.
Other things look good to me, but I need more frequent nesting input.
I was using bnstfq and nestfq as -30.5, to use nest_mon.awk and nest_link.csh as in the example, but the flow looks like a vortex, maybe bacause I'm running a simulation inside the small, closed domain.
Since the domain is smaller, I guess I need stronger nesting (like daily or weekly, etc.), but not pretty sure how to modify nest_mon.awk or nest_link.csh to get daily nesting files.
Modifying bnstfq and nestfq as -1 does not seem to be a solution to get daily nesting, so could you please help me deal with this?

For your information, I attached the sample figure of my domain near the Florida current.

See  HYCOM-examples/GOMb0.08 /expt_01.4/ for a case with daily forcing from ESPC-D.

This is getting nesting files from /datasets/ESPC-D-V02/data/archm

Alan.
