Model setup in HYCOM-TSIS 1/100º Gulf of Mexico Reanalysis (GOMb0.01)

Dear Alan,

I’m running a fine-grid model for the Florida Strait with a 0.01×0.01° configuration nested within my North Atlantic 0.08×0.08° domain.

The nested run is progressing, but I’m observing higher current speeds in the Florida Strait compared to observations. I’m wondering if there might be an issue in my initial setup. Could you kindly share the scripts or workflow you used for generating topology, nesting, and related configurations when creating a GOMb0.01 domain?

I have followed the GOMb0.08 example, but I want to make sure I haven’t missed any steps when changing the grid resolution from 0.08° to 0.01°.
