Hello.  We haven’t been able to get to hycom ftp since yesterday afternoon.

 

$ ftp -p ftp.hycom.org

ftp: connect to address 144.174.97.39: Connection timed out

It is down for me as well.

HTTP/HTTPS Access is still working:

wget https://data.hycom.org/datasets/ESPC-D-V02/data/forecasts/US058GCOM-OPSnce.espc-d-031-hycom_fcst_glby008_2025102012_t0000_Sssh.nc .

If you have lftp it may be able to handle HTTPS, the following worked for me:

lftp https://data.hycom.org/datasets
