Ocean currents around Norway for 10 years

Hi Team,

I need ocean current data (u and v velocity) around Norway that roughly have spatial coverage as shown in the figure below. The data needs to cover the 10-year long time scale (monthly averages are quite ok). Also, it is ok to have data until about 500 meters in depth. 

I tried to access the data using http://tds.hycom.org/thredds/catalogs/GLBu0.08/expt_19.1.html however, the link doesn't allow to download data for more than 1 day at a time. 

Could someone please comment if it is possible to get data that covers above needs?

I suggest using the GOFS 3.1 reanalysis (53.X).  The monthly means are at http://data.hycom.org/datasets/GLBv0.08/expt_53.X/meanstd/netcdf/

This is for the entire globe, 2.2GB each month,  but you can subset to what you need after downloading them.
