Hopefully someone can help. I recently ran an OilMap model/trajectory for a spill scenario in the Black Sea. I used HYCOM data for the currents. A colleague of mine ran the same scenario, same time frame, etc. The only difference was she used currents data from Copernicus Marine Service Products. It appears as if the HYCOM data was the same, but 5 days behind the Copernicus data. Has anyone seen something like this before? The time period was from 7-Aug-21 to 20-Aug-21.
Trying to see if there is a delay in how one or the other collects data. Appreciate any help. Thank you. |
