Hello,

I work on a model that estimates propagation seasonally. Is there any best practice or currently existing data set that averages HYCOM data monthly or seasonally? My current plan is to download HYCOM data hourly for the last year and just average the data?

For the GOFS 3.1 Reanalysis, we have monthly fields at http://data.hycom.org/datasets/GLBv0.08/expt_53.X/meanstd/netcdf/

We don't have these for the analysis, so doing the average yourself is your best option.
