Dear HCP users,

I am planning to use the recently released HCP AABC Release 1 dataset. While reviewing the processed T1w data, it appears that FreeSurfer’s recon-all has been run only partially, as the expected stats directory is missing, even though most other recon-all outputs are present.

Could someone please clarify (a) whether the stats folder was intentionally excluded from HCP processing, and if so, (b) what additional FreeSurfer steps I should run locally to generate the complete set of recon-all outputs for these subjects?

I would greatly appreciate any guidance.

Best,
Sahil

Hi Sahil,

The Structural Preprocessed Extended package has the full FS outputs that you are looking for.

Best,

Jenn

HI Jenn,

Thanks for your quick response. I am using the 2nd last from the following list and it doesn't seem to have full FS outputs. Could you please let me know where to find the "Extended" package?

You need to toggle the “Recommended” column on the right to “All”.

Best,

Jenn
