Hi all,

can anybody tell me the differences between *.pconn.nii and *.pscalar.nii?

Additionally, the data in pconn file is a square matrix, so how can I display one of the rows on cerebral cortex, like the images show below?

A pconn is an areas x areas connectivity matrix.

A pscalar is an areas x maps generic matrix (it can contain one or more maps representing whatever you want).

You can make images like the below in Connectome Workbench.  Have a look at the HCP Course materials for more information on how to use Connectome Workbench: https://store.humanconnectome.org/courses/2019/exploring-the-human-connectome.php.

Matt.
