Hi Matt,

When comparing functional connectivity matrices obtained from different acquisition or preprocessing conditions, what would you consider the most rigorous test that the underlying connectome organization has been preserved?

For example, if global connectivity strengths change, but the large-scale organizational structure appears similar, is there a preferred metric or framework that HCP researchers use to quantify structural preservation versus true network reorganization?
