HCP Data Download Question

Hi all,

I am currently trying to download subjects from the HCP-YA dataset. Unfortunately, I am still waiting on my university security office to approve my use of the IBM Aspera Connect client. My understanding is this software is required for access to the data.

In the event they do not approve this software (I'm on day 74 of the request), is there any alternative method to access the data?

Hi Cooper,

For now, the only way to download the data is in packages through Aspera. We have plans to implement a REST interface for downloading individual files and an alternative to Aspera for larger transfers. These are not yet in place, but we are hoping to have them later this spring.
