I hope this message finds you well.

I recently downloaded the _MEG_anatomy files from the HCP database for my research. However, upon reviewing the data, I noticed that the MEG fiducials seem to be missing from the files. This issue is preventing me from performing certain analyses, and I wanted to inquire whether this is a known issue or if there might be an alternative way to obtain the fiducials for the MEG data.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance or assistance you can provide regarding this matter. Please let me know if you require any additional details about the specific dataset I have downloaded.

Thank you in advance for your time and support.

Best regards,

GuoTao

Hi GuoTao,

Please see this thread. We did the coregistration before release due to the need to protect the identity of participants, who were recruited as twins and family members so the identification risk was higher.

Best,

Jenn

Dear    Jenn

I hope this email finds you well.

I am currently working with the preprocessed MEG data from the Human Connectome Project (HCP) for dynamic causal modeling (DCM) analysis. However, I have encountered an issue where the preprocessed data does not include the necessary fiducial information (e.g., the three core fiducials) required for calculating the head model in SPM.

I would like to inquire whether it is possible to obtain the fiducial coordinates for the participants included in the dataset, or if there is any additional resource or method available to retrieve this information. Additionally, if the fiducials are not available, I am exploring the possibility of using a FieldTrip-derived head model. Could you advise on how to incorporate FieldTrip's head model into SPM for DCM analysis, or if there is any specific format required for the integration?

I would greatly appreciate any guidance or resources you could provide on this matter.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Best regards,
GuoTao
