lounching wb_command

hi, 

I have successfully installed wb_view but I can't run wb_command. I also followed the steps of the "Connectome Workbench Beta v0.83 Tutorial & User Guide" but nothing happens.

Hello,

 

wb_command must be run from a terminal window (DOS prompt on windows).  It cannot be started by double-clicking it with the mouse. 

 

If you are running wb_command from a terminal window, is there an error message?

Yes,  when i try to run it from a terminal window  there is this message "wb_command" is not recognized as an internal or external command, executable program or batch file.

Have you set your PATH environment variable to the “bin_<operating-system>” directory in the workbench directory?  This is covered at the bottom of page 6 in the 0.83 tutorial (look for “To run Workbench from a terminal window”).
