Viewing *dlabel.nii files on wb_view

Hello,

I am having trouble viewing any *dlabel.nii files on wb_view. However, I am able to see the "Map's Labels" along with their associated color and key under the settings, and there don't seem to be any errors. The alphas for the labels are set to "1". I was wondering if I was missing a step in being able to view this type of file.

I applied the wb_command -cifti-create-label to a NIFTI file, to convert it from a NIFTI to a dlabel CIFTI. I was able to view the parcellations through wb_view for the NIFTI file, but not for the dlabel CIFTI file. ​​

For vertex-based data, you need to load surface files to view it on before you can visualize it, cifti and metric files do not contain coordinates (you may want to read wb_command -cifti-help and -gifti-help).  Inflated or very-inflated surfaces let you see more details without cortical folding getting in the way.  Depending on what file you are viewing, either subject-specific or group average surfaces might be most appropriate.
