Request for access to deprecated HCP1200 PTN/Netmats package

Dear HCP Support Team, 

I am conducting a project using HCP Young Adult (S1200) data to predict working memory performance from resting-state functional connectivity.

To perform this analysis, I need the HCP1200 Parcellation + Timeseries + Netmats (PTN1200) dataset, which previously provided:

• Group ICA parcellations

• Subject-level parcellated resting-state time series

• Subject-level FC matrices (Netmats; full/partial correlations)

On the updated BALSA-based data portal, these derived PTN/Netmats packages are no longer available, and only large preprocessed imaging downloads (8–10 TB) appear. Due to storage constraints, I am unable to download the full rfMRI dataset and compute the FC matrices manually.

Could you please provide:

1. Access to the previous PTN/Netmats bundle, or

2. An alternative download link for subject-level resting-state timeseries or FC matrices for the 1003 subjects?

This dataset is essential for completing my analysis.

Hi Feiran (Sofia),

We aren't distributing the PTN dataset from July 2017 on BALSA because the processing used for that analysis is out of date. We plan to produce a modern replacement but haven't had the chance yet with our other projects going.

If you obtained AWS access keys before ConnectomeDB was shutdown, the PTN data is still available in the hcp-openaccess/HCP_Resources/GroupAvg/ folder.

We also plan to implement AWS key (re)generation in BALSA in early 2026.
