BALSA "Get/Reset AWS S3 Access" fails with generic error (HCP-YA project)

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am trying to have access to the HCP-YA dataset with AWS S3; however, when I try that button on top of the page, it says "something went wrong." 
I've tried this more than once in the past week, but it does not work. 

Could you please tell me:

1. Whether this is a known issue with the BALSA credential-generation feature, and if so, whether there's an expected fix date.

2. Whether there's an alternative way for me to obtain AWS S3 credentials for the HCP-YA dataset in the meantime.

I can download directly from the website, but I need the access via AWS S3 for my research.

Hi Maryam,

Replying to the list so everyone can benefit. We realized that your BALSA username was your name with spaces included, e.g. "Jane Doe". When you click the Get/Reset AWS S3 Access button your username was getting relayed to AWS and rejected by them due to the spaces.

The fix is to register for a new account with a username that does not include spaces, agree to the HCP Data Use Terms with that account, then select the Get/Reset AWS S3 Access button to get credentials.
